International Programmes
The UW’s achievements in international programmes such as Erasmus, Erasmus Mundus (34 Erasmus Mundus Action 1 & 2 projects focused on the regions of Asia, Middle East, Balkan and Latin American countries, including 4 projects – SALAM, SALAM2, SIGMA, SIGMA Agile, coordinated by the UW), Tempus, Jean Monnet Action etc. prove that the University has the relevant capacity building to ensure a qualitative organization of projects, their implementation, management, and results dissemination. Gained experience in international cooperation and in management of projects has created good conditions for internationalization of UW in an enlarged, non-EU scale.

ERASMUS+ – Partner Countries
About ERASMUS+
Erasmus+ is the EU programme for education, training, youth, and sport for 2014-2020. The programme will have a budget of €14.7 billion and has followed the achievements of other EU educational programmes organised for the past 25 years. Erasmus+ brings together seven European initiatives realised by the European Commission between 2007-2013: Lifelong Learning, Youth in Action, Erasmus Mundus, Tempus, Alfa, Edulink, and Bilateral Cooperation with industrialised countries in the field of higher education.
In Poland, Erasmus+ is centrally administered by the Foundation for the Development of the Education System ➡

ERASMUS
A subdivision of Erasmus+ programme devoted to higher education is called Erasmus.
Erasmus funds are granted after acceptance of a project submitted in the call for applications in a given year under the following Key Actions:

- KA1 – Higher education student and staff mobility between Programme and Partner Countries; Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees
- KA2 – International programmes within Strategic Partnerships; Knowledge Alliances; Capacity building in the field of higher education
Notice: Participation in all types of projects is open to higher education institutions and companies from related partner countries with accordance to terms and conditions of a given call of proposals and a given project.
Erasmus – International Credit Mobility 2017 project (ICM – KA107)
The objectives and implementation of such projects are closely related to those of Erasmus Mundus Programme.
Notice: List of partner countries eligible for the participation in the programme varies from call of proposals to call of proposals (and from project to project).
Each year, based on the Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreements and in cooperation with faculty mobility coordinators, the International Relations Office (IRO) prepares and submits to the Foundation for the Development of the Education System a new project under the framework of Erasmus – Mobility with Partner Countries (KA107). Financial support may be given to both incoming and outgoing students and staff, provided it was agreed on in a given project.
In accordance with the funds granted by the Foundation for the Development of the Education System, the IRO opens calls for applications. All successful applicants (both incoming and outgoing) sign an individual scholarship agreement.
